Hartford commercial permit COM-ALT-26-000066 (Commercial Alteration Permit): Exterior windows Central Row Conference meeting center: F&I (6) Bullet resistant curtainwall windows with clear 1.93” thick UL rated level 3 ballistic glass clad polycarbonate and insulated unit. Dark bronze anodized finish. The BR interior window will be 70”x 85” to reach existing windows transom bar. A vertical mullion at center line will be required due to glass size and weight. Reinstall (6) blinds. Reinstallation of the existing storm windows excluded. They are not needed with insulated glass. Exterior single door exit only to Central Row between conference rooms 4 & 5: Replace the existing glass with 9/16” tempered opaque white laminated safety glass burglar resistant. This is not bullet resistant glass. 2 sidelights and 1 door light. Sidelights will get ¾” applied square stops instead of the bevel grids. Includes a security bead of sealant applied to the perimeter of each piece. This glass also has a higher sound transmission class STC39. Interior single door exit only to Central Row between conference rooms 4 & 5: Add single door and sidelights bullet resistant level 3 non-insulated, approx. 60” behind existing ext. door. Door to have exit only rim device, closer. No access from the exterior side. Blocking necessary in ceiling provided by others.
