Brand licence or Enterprise

Both are annual, national contracts. The Brand licence is the smaller one: one brand in one product line. Enterprise starts where you need more than that.

What the Brand Check shows

Without an account, the Brand Check shows counts and the three most recent cited positions for the brand you search. A free account adds named head-to-head counts. The full cited list and everything behind it is part of the paid plans. A new account starts with a 14-day trial that includes the paid Brand Check views; when the trial ends, the account moves to the Free account column above until a plan is chosen.

Territory
One US state, or one of the top 50 metros. Covers everyone who sells into it, the manufacturer's regional team and the independent rep agencies carrying its lines, with no seat count.
Brand
The manufacturer name an engineer writes into a specification. One brand, all fifty states, one product line.
Product line
What a brand sells within one construction category, using the industry's own numbering (CSI divisions). Rooftop units are HVAC, Division 23. Light fixtures are Division 26.
Position
Where a brand stands on one project. Named (the engineer chose it), listed (one of several allowed), or absent (not in the documents we hold). Every position carries the document and page.

More than one territory

Published, not negotiated. The ladder applies automatically at checkout.

Why territory and not seats. The people who need this are spread across a manufacturer’s regional team and the independent agencies carrying its lines, and most of them do not work for whoever signs the invoice. A seat price would tax the exact behaviour that makes the product useful. Your bill moves when you take on a new state, not when you hire.

Common questions

What counts as a territory?
One US state, or one of the top 50 metros. Whichever matches how you already describe your patch. You pick at signup and can swap once a quarter.
Do I need an account to browse?
Not for an individual project page -- those are public, with no expiry and no view limit. Searching and filtering the index needs a free account.
Do you resell bid documents?
No. We read public documents and publish the facts with a citation.
Can I cancel?
Territory billed monthly, any time. Territory billed yearly, at renewal. Brand licence and Enterprise are annual contracts.
Do you charge per user?
Never. A territory covers everyone at your firm and every agency you work with.
What is a brand check?
Free, no account. For any brand and any state: how many sections name it as basis of design, how many list it as an approved equal, how many documents we searched, and its three most recent cited positions. The full cited list, other brands by name and the open sections are in the paid plans. The table above sets out every level.
What is a product line?
One CSI division. HVAC is Division 23, lighting is Division 26. A Brand licence covers one; add another for $15,000 a year.
