Hartford commercial permit MISC-DEM-25-000020 (Demolition Permit): Tree fell on three car detached garage. This has already been approved to be rebuilt on the existing slab by the P&Z. The rafters in a few areas have been cracked through and the front right corner of the garage in separated and pushed out half a foot. A consultation inspection was conducted by an inspector named George. He found that the garage was unsafe to enter and that the electrical running to the garage from the house is not up to code and we will have to dig a line from the house to the garage to replace. There is an electrical panel in the garage and electricity run to lights and receptacles. There is also a tree on a neighbors yard that is close to the back roof. I have spoken to the company that owns the building and they said it was ok to cut it down if we have to, but I am still waiting on a written comfirmation from them. I have J&J brothers, whom are licensed for this demo work, doing the demo here.
