Hartford commercial permit MISC-PLM-26-000083 (Plumbing Permit): A1 - Replace existing BWV and install an irrigation style box over pit. Install PVC overflow pipe to sump pit (non-perforated) with sump pump and battery backup. See details/sketch/photos for more information *** Stairs are currently in conflict with the backwater pit. The stairs will be removed by a separate contractor prior to Boisvert's arrival. Access to the basement will be through the rear hatchway/stairs. ****** The existing backwater valve is set high in the floor. A 2" overflow pipe will be necessary in order to pitch from the new backwater valve pit to the sump basin. ******* There is a substantial amount of ground water under the floor of this basement. The existing sump pump runs at a high rate. A4 - Replace existing BWV with a new PVC BWV in a flush mounted irrigation style box with a lid. ***** Please re-pour concrete around backwater valve at least 4" thick. The stairs will be installed on top of the work area after the work has been complete. We want to make sure the concrete is durable enough to support the stairs A9b - Install check valve on washing machine. Plumb to code.
