Project overview

Vermont Act 250 application 3W1137 (Minor, Hartford): The existing use of the property is for outdoor education classes by the Hartford Area Career and Technology Center and the Hartford School District. The proposed project is construction of a 200 LF driveway and 7900 SF parking area to provide safe access to the property for school buses and personal vehicles during classroom site visits to the property. The parking area will be located in the southeast corner of the existing field. A 2-foot high x 250' long earthen berm will be constructed along the northern property line, in the field, to create a detention/infiltration area to offset the increase in stormwater runoff from the proposed impervious surfaces.
